Way Around Creative is a new digital agency at the crossroads of creativity, strategy, and travel.

Mara Smith is a senior copywriter with experience spanning advertising agencies and in-house studios. She’s helped brands like KitchenAid, Johnson & Johnson, and Coca Cola find their voice and get the word out. Hunter Zimmerman is a freelance filmmaker and digital artist with experience crafting videos for luxury condos along with clients in the arts and music.

After 6 years living and working in Chicago, the pair decided to pack up shop and make their way from Croatia to Vietnam (they really like trains). During their year living out of hostels, hotels, and guesthouses, they joined their creative talents with their passion for travel. Way Around was born. 

As young creatives, they’ve embraced resourceful and creative problem solving. As travellers, they’ve gained hands-on experience when it comes to what will get people in the door.
